Did you run through all of the steps to be sure that the Experience Index is 3 or greater. have you verified that you have the latest graphics drivers and direct X drivers?

Have you checked the driver version for the Intel adapter?

Find the game's .exe
It should be something like halo2.exe
  • right click
  • properties
  • compatibility (tab)
  • run as admin
  • run as windows vista (it doesn't work on XP or earlier)

Lenovo v570 specs

The Intel 3000 has verte shaders and can play modern games. Most of the time at low settings but Halo 2 is a pretty low end game so it should be okay with it.

install directx 9.0c from my signature
also make sure that the intel drivers are up to date

there should be a shortcut of the game on your desktop (should be called Halo 2)
and then follow mcninja's directions
