Hi guys I'm new here and I have been experiencing some problems recently and i could not understand what might be the problem

It was last saturday night i was playing WC3, League of legends and dota 2 with my friends with smooth game play (60fps for LOL) and i did not touch my laptop since that night

However, when i turned on my laptop again on wednesday all hell broke loose

all my games were very laggy and my LOL was around 30fps and when there are clashes its around 15 and maybe lower i was wondering what might be the cause

my laptop specs are as follows

Alienware M15X
Windows 7 home premium service pack 1
8.00 GB ram
quad core i7
ATI mobility radeon hd 5850
600gb harddisk

thanks

Is this one of the Optimus technology models?
If so have you verified it using the nvidia chip for the games?

Use Hardware Monitor to check the temps of the CPU and GPU.

For the CPU or GPU?

A tad warm for the CPU.
