Computer Freezes in Games

Hello, I would like to state that:
1) I am new here so Hello everyone

2) Sorry that if I do post in the wrong section

3) It's going to be a copy/paste from ( EggXpert - Computer Freezes randomly ) Since I was recommended by a user to come here for answers/potential answers

And Let's begin

I recently bought parts for a computer (month ago this week) specs follows

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3
CPU: Intel Core i5 2500k @ Stock Settings (3.3GHz)
Memory: Patriot Gamer 2 Series 8gb (2x4) 1333
HD:
Crucial M4 64GB (SSD Boot drive) 1.5TB HDD WD Green (storage)
GPU: MSI N570GTX Twin Frozr III PE/OC@ OC stock settings
PSU: Crosair 750W TXV2
Cooling: Hyper 212+

Now, I've been experiencing something strange. In games the computer would freeze briefly, make a huge halt sound and continue on.

Now this occurs in every game I've played. I use though Leagues of Legends (LoL) to test every time cause it has a timer on the corner of the game and freezing starts from 4-15mins into a game. Sometimes even later (30mins in).

Next I have done:
Stress test on the GPU (furmark) nothing happens. I've also set the GPU to reference stock settings no changes problem still persists, have messed with voltages. Still problems.

Nothing's wrong with the CPU and ran prime95 passed tests.

Done memtest on ram pass that too. I also today did some ram slot swapping and booting with a single stick of ram. Problem still persists.

I would like to know what is going on so if you guys have any idea it would be appreciated.

Thanks so much.

Hi Shien,

Take a look at the event viewer and see if there are any errors listed. Try un-installing and re-installing the videocard drivers and see if that alleviates your computer issue. Did you install the videocard drivers from the disk or Nvidia's website? What DirectX version are you running?

Hope everything works out well for you.

I have done that (sorry I completely forgot about that), I've used driver sweeper to uninstall and reinstall drivers. Problem persists.

I have DirectX 11.

I have never used the event viewer and will go and try to test it out to see any errors occurs when that happens.

Also thanks so much for responding.
