I'm running in to the same issue described here:
Excel Worksheet Object/RDP Issue

Here's a brief outline:
User RDPs into Windows 7 x64 SP1 machine with Office 2010 (x86) installed, with /span turned on
Opens spreadsheet, copies selection, opens Word and uses Paste Special -> Microsoft Excel Worksheet Object
The pasted selection is enlarged and spacing is incorrect - almost as if it wasn't using the same font and spacing.

If you RDP into the same machine without /span turned on - it works fine......
DPI is set to 100% on both sides (local and remote)
I have tried it on another machine (via RDP as well) and it does the samething...
Tried installing Office SP1 - however that broke word all together....any ideas?
Thanks

If you have 2003 it rarely works on Win7 you should try microsoft office 2007 or higher

Installing office 2007 is worth a try.

P.S. You can put the office 2010 on an USB or on an other Local Disk on your computer.
