I need to paste Excel cell ranges into Word as either ‘Link & Keep Source Formatting’ or ‘Link & Use Destination Styles’. The destination data in Word appears as a table (it can split to next page if necessary), all good.
However, the 2 main problems I have is that when at a future point I ‘refresh’ these links: 1) each destination link (i.e. entire table) duplicates in full; and 2) the ‘table properties’ of each table randomly change (in some cases quite drastically).
I’ve avoided merging cells in Excel for these types of links as this causes problems with this type of paste. I don’t want to paste as Picture or Excel Worksheet Object or any other method.
Does anyone know a solution? Thx
