MS Office 2002 clip organizer error message

Running Windows XP Pro with MS Office 2002 SP3. When trying to insert clip art into an office program or utilizing the MS clip organizer I receive the following error message. "Clip Organizer cannot complete the operations. Class not registered error code 0x80040154. Microsoft knowledge base references problems with MDAC components out of date. I checked the MDAC component with the MS MDAC checker and MDAC is up to date. Error message states class not registered. Is this a call to a dll file that is either the wrong version or not registered properly or is something else causing this error.

This problem may occur if Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) is corrupted.
This may also occur if you upgrade to MDAC 2.7 and the program PCAnywhere 10.5 is installed on your computer. The "remote management" feature of PCAnywhere writes a registry key value that changes the authentication level used by the OLE DB proxy.
So tell me if you are using PCAnywhere 10.5.

If you do not have PCAnywhere installed

If you do not have PCAnywhere installed
To resolve this problem, reinstall MDAC. This restores the installation defaults and resolves file version conflicts, missing files, and corrupted registry entries. To reinstall MDAC, follow these steps:
1. Right-click Start, and then click Explore to start Windows Explorer.
2. Locate the following file
drive:\Windows\inf\Mdac.inf
where drive is the drive where Windows is installed.
3. Right-click Mdac.inf, and then click Install.

NOTE: You may be prompted to insert the Microsoft Windows CD in the CD-ROM drive or DVD-ROM drive.
4. Restart Windows.

Thanks for quick response

Not running pcanywhere. Currently running MDAC 2.8. Will installation of the MDAC.inf file uninstall current MDAC version and revert back to original version?
