Mandatory cell input with drop down menue

Hello all,

I know there have been posts about mandatory cell input. So far, I haven't found a solution to my problem, though.

I have a dropdown menue in column L. If the user chooses a certain value of the dropdown menue, I want him to fill in the cell in column M, too.

How can I do this?

Select the column M and in data section click on Data Validation.
Depending on what you need go through the options... Everything is mostly self explanatory.
