Temporary Internet Files Weirdness

Hi everybody, today I've came across one of the strangest problem I've ever seen. Someone using an older machine (w2k sp4 w/ IE6) at my job got a problem with temporary internet files. Some page from our intranet are cached by IE and it doesn't want to fetch it again unless I go press the "Delete Files" button from Internet Options. I've set the "Check for newer versions of stored pages" to "Every visit to the page" but to no avail.

This computer ran fine for many months without a glitch and no settings have been changed for a long time. The user doesn't even have admin right and she access that page many times every work day. Those pages are generated with classic ASP and have been in use for many years and nobody have seen that bug.

How could this happen?

Is there some other settings affecting cached pages?

Thanks
