I have a new desktop running Windows Vista. I have Internet Explorer 7 loaded on as part of my factory installed software. Every time I try to use Explorer as a browser I get the following messages:
1. Internet Explorer has stopped working. Checking for a solution.
2. Internet Explorer has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
I have tried to re-download Explorer 7, but it always tells me that is what I have onboard already. I looked for it in my add/remove programs list, but I don't see it. Guess it is integrated into the whole Vista thing. I'm not much of a computer geek, so I don't know what else to try.
Why is this happening, and what can I do about it?
Thanks!
Nancy
