Re: Flash Player Pop-up

Start IE in No-Add-ins mode and see if the problem stops. We'll go from there.

Re: Flash Player Pop-up

OK, it's now a process of elimination. Start by disabling a few ad-ins that look like they might be the culprit. It's not exact science, but you'll find the one. If you need help with this it's available at: How to manage add-ons in Internet Explorer 9

  • Click Here to download ToolbarCop. Save it to your desktop.
  • Go to your desktop and extract toolbarcop.zip.
  • Go to the extracted files
  • Double click on Toolbarcop.exe
  • Click on the notepad symbol:
  • A notepad file should pop up, please copy and paste Everything from the notepad file and paste it back into this thread.

Re: Flash Player Pop-up

Problem could be Spybot. Regardless, disable their Teatimer. You don't need it.

Re: Flash Player Pop-up

Sorry for the delay

Open up Toolbar cop again, find the following entries:

Toolbar: (Empty) - {D4027C7F-154A-4066-A1AD-4243D8127440} - (empty) - Enabled - Current User

Toolbar: (Empty) - {D7E97865-918F-41E4-9CD0-25AB1C574CE8} - (empty) - Enabled - Current User

Right click on each of the above and click Delete, then click Yes when prompted
