my auto complete doesn't work anymore.

i tried the obvious fix of tools>internet options>content>autocomplete settings i even tried the "inline autocomplete" setting under the advanced tab.

so is there a way to manually change it in the registry so it ACTUALLY works.

an example of what i want is let's say you log into facebook alot, when it comes time to login you type the first letter of your email and autocomplete suggests possible matches so you dont have to type your address out EVERY time.

and help will be great!
thanks

rian

Hello and welcome to TSF

Do you have any programs to automatically empty temp files?

What version of IE is it?

Try disabling all your temp cleaners. See if that solves the problem.

its like it had to wait a couple days for it to register. i havent done anything you have suggested yet and low and behold it works. i know it has nothing to do with signing in/out to my account frequently either since i signed in/out over and over before posting this thread. what do you think caused it to work suddenly?

thanks again

TBH I have no idea. Atleast the problem is solved now.
