Search Engines won't work

For some reason this weekend, none of my search engines will work. I can get to any website I want (with the exception of Google) and search anything I want. However, when on my MSN homepage, if I search the web (BING)I always get the same "Internet Explorer cannot display webpage". If I try and type in Google in the address area, I get the same answer. I installed a new Kaspersky program and scanned my system thinking it was a virus. It came back with no threats. I also tried scanning with Symantec and was clean. I'm not sure if I inatvertantly blocked the search engines or is it possibly a virus.?

Re: Search Engines won't work

Hello and Welcome to TSF!

Is this a Wired or Wireless connection issue?

See if you have any Proxy Settings and remove it if you do. Here's how?

==============================
If above recommendation didn't work try logging on as a different User or create a new User Account and see if you're able to duplicate the issue.

Please post update.
