Hello,
About 5 or 6 months ago noticed that IE wasn't loading pictures on webpages. Sometimes it will load them all, sometimes none, and sometimes only a few will load. When I right click and select "show picture" it still will not load. For example, when I go to ebay sometimes just the ebay logo in the top left corner will not load, other times none of the "buttons" will load. Seems to be hit or miss on what will load. Nothing specific. I had IE 6.0 for this whole time up until a week or so ago I upgraded to 7.0 and still get the same thing.

I thought I had some malware issues so I have already been cleaned on the Hijackthis Forum. After doing a fix suggested in the HJT forum all the pictures started loading again. Could be a coincidence they started working after I did the fix, not sure. While I was changing my home page, under internet options-Advanced tab I mistakenly clicked reset and now the pictures are not loading again. After the pictures started working again, words and text on web pages looked purplish in color. Not like a "visited " link though. After I hit the Reset button under internet options-Advanced tab the words and text went back to black color and pics didn't load. Sound familiar? Any suggestions?
Thank you!

It sounds as if you have narrowed it down to one of those settings in the Advanced tab. Im assuming it is one under the Mulitmedia/Browsing category.

Open IE, click Tools/ Internet Options/ Advanced, and then in the Multimedia section of the list, there's an item Show Pictures. Make sure there is a checkmark in that box

That box is checked. This was one of the first things I looked at. When I uncheck the box none of the pictures show up, which is normal. When the box is checked, it's kind of a random thing. Some will open, others won't. Right clicking and selecting Show Picture doesn't work.

ss95chevy, did you ever find the fix for your problem?
Both my wife and I are having the same problem while using IE7 with Windows Vista.
