I upgraded to IE8 and now I can not launch IE at all. I have tried reloading IE8 and also uninstalling it and going back to IE7 but still no luck in launching IE at all. I had to install Firefox just to be able to get here, let alone get to my email accounts. How do I fix this problem? I have also tried system restore several days but get can not restore to this point. Now what should I try?

I am also having all of the above mentioned problems. I had to install Google Chrome in order to get here. I am NOT tech-savvy, so all the self-help blogs mean little, and I'm sick of the condescending "assistance" I've been receiving. This is a nightmare. NOTHING is working properly since IE8! I don't have the option to uninstall, and with the last advice I received, I can't even open the IE browser without my computer freezing up. Can anybody help me, please???
