I purchased a whole bunch of music videos on disc. I would like to add these music video files to my computer so I can organize them the way I want them and then burn them back to disc so I can view them in the order I would like to view them. What is a good software to use to do this task with. I would like to blend these videos with a fade in and out or a special effect transition so the video doesn't freeze at the end of the video before it goes on to the next one. I would like to do a smooth transition between music videos. Can anyone suggest some good software for this purpose that I can purchase. I really don't care for free software as it always has a lot of problems. Thanks.

Is this a commercial/retail disc or a user burned disc?

It is a commercial/retail music video user burned disc where the user has copyright allowance to sell such discs. I purchased these music video discs from various retail sellers on the Ioffer website. They are music video discs.

Assuming they are burned discs, you should be able to simply copy the data straight from the disc onto a computer.

Once the data is on your computer, you should be able to open it with pretty much any video editing software. And as you are wanting to perform advanced editing and effects, your best bet would likely be a full featured product.
