What do you think the next popular "gadget" will be?

Will it be an iphone killer?

A new hand held gaming device?

A smaller version of a netbook?

DF they already have the jammer technology, it has been put to use in several casinos. But I would love to have one for a big truck so I can put up the "cone of silence" around my truck!

Direct input. Magic Jack for your head. Plugs into the socket implanted in the back.
Already have heads-up display glasses, finger implants for the typing and navigation is done with the eyes. Ha!!!!!

A cellphone that can release a strong beam of microwave energy in one direction for a short period of time, say one or two minutes. Useful for pranking (point it at someone's mouth and any metal fillings will heat up like mad!), screwing up other electronics, and warming up your lunch at work.

So I have the TV on. They are talking about future security tech. They said they are working on a personal LRAD system. I wonder how long before something like that gets abused?
