Live Cam on Eagle Nest

Not sure if anyone would be interested in this link. Decorah Eagles, Ustream.TV: First hatch 4/2/11. 24-hour collage of first egg pip and hatch Second hatch 4/3/2011. First glimpse of second hatchling Thi.... It on an eagle nest 80 feet in the air. Two eggs have hatched and one is due to hatch Tuesday. You can watch the parents feed them etc. This afternoon the male has brought them a rabbit and a fish. All of Iowa is watching this with updates on the TV news 3 times a day.

The nest appears to be extremely heavy at 1 1/2 tons.

That was a great feed. I watched an hour or so of it and ( although most of it was the eagle simply staring around ) was a nice and beautiful way to show how nature works.

The launch pad tour at Kennedy Space Center includes a drive by look at several Eagles nests . . our guide said they are about the size of a Queen sized bed. One had been there for 40 years . .
