videos skipping

Currently I have 2 monitors and when I have a game up on my main monitor, i sometimes have a video going on the 2nd. Usually a stream but I have had school lectures going so I could listen and watch key parts when I need to. When I have both going, the video always skips and sometimes crashes the game and video. I have had the computer for just under a year. When I first got it, I had no issues having both going at the same time but the past couple months it has started doing it. I am at a loss as to what to do. I have updated all drivers on the computer.

When I test to the closest server in Virginia, I have 14 ms ping, 29.27 Mbps download and 6.14 Mbps upload. I then tested across the world in Cairo, Egypt and got 140 ms ping, 21.53 Mbps download and 5.92 Mbps upload. I don't think the internet is the issue but I don't how to fix the video skipping on the computer.

You haven't told us anything about your computer but often times mfgr software installed I have found messes with internet reception. I never install anything except Windows and necessary drivers with Windows Updates. Amd and Intel software along with motherboard utility software is almost always the cause of such things.

I ran the HWMonitor and found that my temperature ranges from 90 F to 120 F. My video card is the highest which sits around 130 F and I am pretty sure it isn't supposed to sit that high. I primarily use Firefox unless some website needs me to be on IE. I dont like the feel of Edge and Chrome usually slows my computer down. I attached the dxdiag file and the HWMonitor results in case it helps you all.

I tried a few games and playing two videos at the same time on IE, Chrome and Edge. They are all doing the same thing just at different levels. Edge seems to skip the least and Chrome skips the most. If I click in the window to do something on the page, it stays perfectly fine.

It started happening about middle of last year before I upgraded to windows 10. I downloaded some add-on to keep track of my video card updates and manage settings in my games. I didnt like the feel of it, so I removed the program. The SFC scan found nothing out of place.

Hi all

Temps look within tolerances. Programs look OK (I'll assume that the Office 365 is a trial offer... and that you use Office 2010 for the most part... you would usually want to stick with one version. [If you're not using the trial of 365, you can remove it]).

TSF tech & moderator Satrow found an article and workaround concerning a bug (affecting HDMI connections) in the latest version of the nVidia drivers. One solution is to either uninstall the latest version, or boot into Safe Mode and roll-back to the previous version, and then to download the new driver from nVidia directly, and to install it using the "CUSTOM ->clean install installation" option [do not use the "Express" install option]. They also recommend running the install with just one monitor attached, and then attaching the 2nd monitor after the new driver is already up and running.

It might/might not help, but since your issue occurs with the two screens going at the same time, can't hurt to give it a try.
