WiFi router keeps needing reset...

This is a discussion on WiFi router keeps needing reset... within the Networking Support forums, part of the Tech Support Forum category. Every so often - say every two weeks or so - my Netgear wireless router will need to be reset.

Every so often - say every two weeks or so - my Netgear wireless router will need to be reset. Why?

It is still putting out a WiFi, however, it will not allow ANY device to connect to it wirelessly. Wired connections still run fine.

Here's the even weirder thing... When I go to WiFi Networks on my iPhone, select my network, and go to view the various information about the network (DHCP, BootP, Static), it will show that it is connected. When I leave that setting, the connection is lost...

Check the support site for a firmware update.
