Hi.
I'm frequently connecting to a client VPN via the Nortel VPN software.
What is strange is as soon as I dosconnect my local SQL Server stops working.
From what I've tested it seems like the SQL TCP/IP port 1433 are closed when the VPN disconnects (telnet not connecting anymore). It works fine before and during the VPN connection.
Only way that I can get my SQL to work is to reboot my machine.
Any idea on how to get it to work?
Is there perhaps a way that I can force open the port after it got 'closed'.
Anything else?
