hey all. i just moved to a new place and i got a new router.i have a css server and i need some ports to be open.i did all the necessary changes in order to open the ports in my router but when i check them i see that they aren't open.my router is a netfaster iad. i have noticed that some other people had the same problem. if you need more info ask to give to give.heeeeelp!! :bheart:
the ports are different but i will show you an image. the server requires that the ports must be opened in order for players to join but none of the ports i want open.
I'm not too familier with that router. From one of the portforward.com screenshots it looks like you can have a combination or multi and single port maps in one field (Combination of ports).
Try only using one line in the NAT Table. I.e:
No:1
LAN IP: 192.168.2.2
Port Type: TCP/UDP
LAN Ports: 1200,27000-27050,47000-47050
Public Ports: 1200, 27000-27050,47000-47050
Enabled: X
Does that make sence? So basically you would have all the port maps on one line.
If the above doesnt work, just open one port and try and access that.
When you try to open up those Ports in your router it should tell you if it's on Stealth, Closed or Opened. Please see this link and images also provided: portforward.com forum - Help Port 6112 Warcraft 3
Do you see any of these in your router setting?
2xg: no there isn't anything like that
dave atkin: you saved me. the thing that i do wrong is that i put a tick in the enable button. it must remain unticked.thanks man!!!
