Trying to connect a Samsung Smart TV model UE48JU6445 to my PC via Ethernet port for internet. The PC internet is connected via USB tethering on my phone. It's using PDANet and the computer is running on Windows 10.
Crossover cable, ethernet cable both fail to create a connection. I've tried ICS but it always fails to connect the tv to the pc for internet sharing.
By disabling IPv6 on each network it seems to be working. However, the new problem is if one network has internet the other one loses it (ie tv has it now, so computer doesnt get any connection at all) Any idea what may cause that?
This is because of the tethering of the wifi signal from the mobile device. It's only setup/designed to share to one device at a time. That's when the mobile industry came up with the wifi take anywhere hub that allows up to 5 connections. Verizon has it.
post the results of a ipconfig /all via a command prompt and perhaps it will give us a clue.
