no network

my laptop is falling to connect to the internet

You didn't provide us with a lot of information. So, we have to guess. Are you trying to connect Wired or Wirelessly? If wirelessly, do you see the Wireless Adapter icon in the System Tray by the Clock? Can you View available wireless networks? Do you see your Wireless Router as an available network? Did you type your Pass Phrase to enter the network? What happens when you connect?
