OS: Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit

Network adapter problem (new Samsung NP-RC730 S02IT)

Hi all folks, I bought a new Samsung NP-RC730, so as usual, I formatted it, made the partitions and I installed Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit (to get rid of the home premium version that was installed previously), I downloaded all the drivers for Win7 64bit from the official website Assistenza per NP-RC730

After I installed all of them, everything is fine except the boot time and internet that is too slow.
To access your website it took 4 minutes more or less....
I signed a contract with virgin here in UK and my router is very fast, my other laptops don't have any problems, so I really don't know what to do....

Now the info you might need:

On Device Manager I also have:

Network Adapters:
Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N130
Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter #8
Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter #9
Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller

Processors:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz

I run these tests on DOS

If you have windows 7 SP-1 then, you must note that Internet connectivity is a known issue with this release you can find many users encountering slow internet speed after installing win 7 sp-1.

I think you may need to wait for a fix from microsoft.

Go to Start/Search and type ncpa.cpl Right click the ncpa.cpl icon in the search results and Run As Administrator. Right click the Local Area Connection/Properties and Uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)

Re: Network adapter problem (new Samsung NP-RC730 S02IT)

Thanks for the advices guys.
I had a brainwave from my past experiences with adapters and I fixed the problem by myself in this way:

The only thing to do if you have a similar problem is:

- Go to Control Panel/Device Manager

- Disable Bluetooth. (Enable it only when you need it!)

The reason is that it interferes with the wireless signal!

Now if I run the test

C:\Users\Fab>ping yahoo.com

It works!

Cheers
