Netgear wireless USB won't install driver
I have Vista. I have been using this netgear wireless-n 150 wna1000 usb adapter for a few months. the other day I lost connection with it and it wouldn't come back. I tried reinstalling the driver and it won't work. I run the setup but when it gets to the point where it says insert usb, i do that and it says it can't find the driver. I have the most updated driver on my desktop as well as the cd. Even if i try to select the driver on my desktop manually, it won't allow me to select it. It doesn't even show up in the list. I tried installing it on my laptop and it works perfectly. For some reason it stopped working on my desktop and cant locate the driver even though its there. I talked to tech support and they determined that the usb is fine and there is something wrong with the computer blocking it. It shows up in my device manager when i plug it in under "other". The light on the usb even lights up, just cant locate the driver. Please help.

Re: Netgear wireless USB won't install driver
try disabling any internet security application or personal firewalls and try re-installing the driver.

Re: Netgear wireless USB won't install driver
Hello,
Click on Start => in Quick search type the word cmd on the blank field. From the black screen, type the word ipconfig /all and press enter. Right click on the black screen or Command prompt then choose Select All and Paste the results here.

Re: Netgear wireless USB won't install driver
Have you tried a different USB Port in your Laptop?
Also, you may uninstall/remove all USB Controllers from Device Manager, then restart your computer and let Windows install all USB drivers back.
