Hello
I am hoping to network two Windows PCs together, one XP and one Win 7, in a Homegroup and use the XP computer as a backup for files that I have worked on throughout the day.
At the moment, the XP computer, which has a hard drive of several hundred Gb, is idle.
However, what I didn't want to do was copy one file after another each day to the XP computer: one Word document, one image, one Movie, then another Word document, then a Notepad file, etc.
Is it possible to tell Windows 7 to automatically copy all files worked on over the last 24 hours, every 24 hours, to my XP computer - or is there software that might do that?
I am thinking of a work situation where every 24 hours all files worked on are saved to back-up tapes - basically just putting that same principle into practice.
Thanks
