Connection drops constantly?

I'm having Internet issues.
On all my Devices.
I will be doing something and then my Internet just cuts out.
I'm on Facebook on my iPhone and my Internet just disconnects.
I'm on my computer, my Internet disconnects.
But it's mainly annoying me because I can't play online on Xbox.
I just got battlefield 3 and every two minutes I lose connection to the game.
On grand theft auto iv I lag out of every single game after 15 minutes.
On call of duty I cant even find a match.
I have cox Internet. The 50 mbps plan.
The dude setting up the Internet said that should be plenty enough for online gaming.
So my speed isn't an issue right?
I recently bought a new router to see if that fixed the problem. It did for a little but then it just started up again. A couple days ago someone said I should set up qos.
I did that and I didn't notice a difference so I just turned it off.
What else can I do to fix this? It's really annoying when I can't use my Internet.

Can you try connecting one of your devices directly into the modem. See if that solves the problem.

Since this happens on all of your devices, the problem is either the router, modem, or ISP service connection.

If both wired and wireless devices are affected, visit your router's manufacturer's site and download the latest firmware then manually update it by using a wired connection to your router.
