Windows 7 blue screen of death - BSOD

I do not know as much about computers as others on these forums, so please bear with me. I bought all the hardware components myself and put it together. All the parts seemed to be compatible with each other at first. Then after a few days, the computer started getting BSOD's and restarting automatically. It never happens while I am using the computer, but instead only when it is idle.

OS: Windows 7
64 bit
Windows 7 is the original OS
I purchased the OS (home premium from best buy)
I bought all the components 1-2 months ago, brand new.
The OS has never been re-installed.
CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 640 Processor 3.0 GHz
Video Card: MSI Radeon HD 5670 1024 MB
Motherboard: ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO
450 watt Corsair Power Supply

Someone from the Microsoft team will be better at assisting you on this! I just want to add that your power supply is underpowered for your setup. I wouldn't run anything less that a quality 650 watt PSU with that setup.

Sorry bud, the zip file never came through. In the Advanced editor, click on the paperclip icon, and then attach the file that way.

I zipped the file in another thread, and now it won't let me post it anywhere else.

Sorry about that, I didn't realize you have another. I've merged the two now.

It appears you have a graphics issue. You may start by completely uninstalling your ATI drivers, and installing these ones: http://www2.ati.com/drivers/11-2_vista64_win7_64_dd.exe

If that doesn't work, I suggest you return the video card and get a replacement.

Thank you for your help. I just uninstalled my old drivers and installed the new drivers using the link you gave me. I hope it works out this time.

I seriously hope you take my advice on a quality higher wattage PSU before that 450 watt goes and takes other hardware with it.
