Vista blue screen restart

My vista computer is new, it's a compaq, and got it a few months ago. But about a month it's been going nuts, every so often I get a blue screen and it restarts, I did the computer restore system, I did a virus check and cleaned out viruses, I unintalled programs (by the way some I uninstalled don't disappear from the uninstall software thingy) I deleted stuff of mine, but still nothing...

Re: Vista blue screen restart

Did you add any new components? It could be a driver problem. Updating them all may help.

Re: Vista blue screen restart

I need you to go to the directory C:\WINDOWS\Minidump and put the .dmp files into a zipped folder. You might need to copy the .dmp files into another folder such as Documents before you can zip them.

Attach them to your next post so I can read them and see if I can tell you what to do to stop them.

Re: Vista blue screen restart

I have also been getting this.. blue screen of death.

I have a toshiba with vista.. and lately everything on it has been crashing and freezing. I can't even use iTunes anymore because it freezes so bad. I've downloaded like 5 different antiviruses, and they all find something and then its deleted.. and yet, my computer STILL freezes and I have to manually reset it.
