I edit clips with Sony Vegas 10. And there HD clips, so in sony vegas, I have it down to preview, and it still lags really hard. I have 2 gb ram, and idk why it always lags. And when I render a 5 minute clip, takes about 5 1/2 hours.. Idk what to do to decrease the lag, or the Render lag. Also I delete all my processes when I edit. So it still does it. Not so sure why. Please help

I am afraid the answer here may be that you simply do not have enough processing power.
What are the rest of your PC specs?
While rendering go to START -> type resmon press enter. Then see if your CPU/Memory is being maxed out.
