I’m getting 1 BSOD per week while playing Flash Video 10.3 on ESPN3.com. I also get an instant BSOD when plugging a wireless mouse(M305) into the USB 2.0 port. I’ve updated my display drivers and flash to BIOS to the latest version. I've already contacted Lenovo tech support. They said to do a reinstall the OS after I backup my files.

I’ve attached my dump files. Some help would be awesome.

No-virtual drives. I got the drivers from Lenovo. Here is a rough list of them.
Intel Management Engine Interface IN01MEI01WW5
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver IN1IPS01WW5
intel display 64 bit verison IN2VDO50WW5

Re: BSOD on a Lenovo G560

Hi -

Keep in touch with Lenovo Support.

30 BSODs since May 2011. Many of the initial BSODs were caused by your Atheros wifi driver.

The most recent dumps show Unknown_Module, which indicates hardware failure - (No drivers should be "unknown") -
Code:

You can run memtest86+ - http://www.techsupportforum.com/2863029-post5.html

Another BSOD pointed to HDD failure as a possibility. Run HDD diags -

I would get Lenovo back on the phone quickly.

Re: BSOD on a Lenovo G560

Hi -

Keep in touch with Lenovo Support.

30 BSODs since May 2011. Many of the initial BSODs were caused by your Atheros wifi driver.

Thanks, you guys have been of great help with speedy responds.
I'll run the test software you suggested today and update the wifi adapter. Good thing, I have 3 months left of Lenovo support.

Re: BSOD on a Lenovo G560

Just curious. . .

Were you aware of the 30 BSODs and that they started >6 months ago?
Yep(I knew), I used a appcrash viewer to view 50 "events". This Lenovo G560 is my dad's htpc and I've been traveling out of state for the last 6 months. So, I've had limited time to try to fix the BSOD. He was hesitant to send it to Lenovo because he wanted watch alot live soccer matches for last summer.

I advised him to send it to Lenovo last spring and wait a month to get the laptop back. But here we are with a troublesome laptop with an expiring warranty.

Re: BSOD on a Lenovo G560

Now would be the time and soonest before the window closes
I understand the reluctance to part with the system, but I would do so before warranty expiration.
I'm sending the laptop back to Lenovo this week . Good thing I saved the box. I'll put an update if anything changes. Again, thanks for the solid TechSupport.

Re: BSOD on a Lenovo G560

Good Luck with the return to Lenovo.
Your most welcome do keep us posted on the outcome
I got the laptop back and it runs fine with a formatted hard drive.
The only thing usual is that after a did a Windows Transfer Backup from the old drive, the laptop constantly BSOD(more than 3x in 2 days). So, I did a System Restore to close to Factory Setting. Now it runs much better.

I think my Windows Transfer might have some corrupt drivers.
