Having intermittent BSOD crashes once every couple of months tried hotfixes and everything i can think of pciidex was the original diagnostic but unable to figure it out here are a few mini dumps any input would be highly appreciated!

Hi -

All dumps but 1 list this Microsoft OS driver as the probable cause -
Code:
[font=lucida console]
intelppm.sys                Mon Jul 13 19:19:25 2009 (4A5BC0FD) - Windows PCI IDE Bus Driver Extension
[/font]
http://www.sysnative.com/drivers/driver.php?id=intelppm.sys

It is likely listed as a default and is not the actual cause.

The most recent dump had bugcheck 0x124 = WHEA = Machine Check Exception.

The WHEA record indicates that CPU may be an issue. Processor 2 reporting L2 cache error -
Code:

Bugcheck 0x124 is almost always hardware failure related. A few things I noticed in the dump files that are worthwhile taking care of before declaring unknown hardware failure:

- old AVG installation; you have current Avast installed too
- Deamon tools (on Server 2008R2...? :0 )
- Asus mobbo drivers (see below) -
Code:
[font=lucida console]
avgldx64.sys                Thu Jun  3 17:06:48 2010 (4C081968) - AVG
avgmfx64.sys                Wed Aug 17 07:31:52 2011 (4E4BA6A8) - AVG
avgmfx64.sys                Sun Apr 25 17:06:15 2010 (4BD4AEC7) - AVG
avgrkx64.sys                Wed Feb 10 22:52:44 2010 (4B737F0C) - AVG

sptd.sys                    Sun Feb 27 14:28:51 2011 (4D6AA5F3) - Daemon
dtsoftbus01.sys             Mon Mar 14 09:15:47 2011 (4D7E1503) - Daemon

intelppm.sys                Mon Jul 13 19:19:25 2009 (4A5BC0FD) - Windows PCI IDE Bus Driver Extension

AsUpIO.sys                  Tue Mar 30 06:00:55 2010 (4BB1CBD7) - Asus

Remove AVG with the removal tool - http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN146

Reboot upon completion.

Remove Daemon tools.

I see Asus mobo drivers. You may have the problematic Asus ATK0110 driver asacpi.sys.

Check windows\system32\drivers for the date. If pre-2009, update it -

ATK0110 - http://www.sysnative.com/drivers/driver.php?id=asacpi.sys
