Hello everyone! I am here in desperate need of help... I recently bought this used custom gaming computer and have no idea why I am getting all these random BSOD. I have tried researching myself and the BSODs often occured when I was on Youtube, webcamming or talking on programs like Skype and GoogleTalk, or using a drawing program called Paint Tool Sai. One time during gaming it did bug out but it was not quite a BSOD so I'm not sure what that was either.

Any help would be appreciated and I have attached the files needed and I have answered the spec questions below as best as I can.

· OS - Vista/ Windows 7 ? Windows 7
· x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? x64
· What was original installed OS on system? Windows 7 ( I think )
· Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from retailer)? full retail version
· Age of system (hardware) I am not sure
· Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS? No I have not
· CPU - Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500 CPU @ 3.30GHz (4CPUs), ~3.3GHz
· Video Card - 2x AMD HD 7790's in crossfire
· MotherBoard - ASUS p8p67 Pro
· Power Supply - brand & wattage - 1000 Watt Power Supply
· System Manufacturer
· Exact model number (if laptop, check label on bottom)
Laptop or Desktop? Desktop

Hi,

All of the attached DMP files are of the SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e) bug check.

This indicates that a system thread generated an exception which the error handler did not catch.

BugCheck 1000007E, {ffffffffc0000005, fffff8800f332dbb, fffff88007ce0228, fffff88007cdfa80}

The 1st parameter of the bug check is 0xc0000005 which indicates an access violation occurred.

Code:
3: kd> .exr 0xfffff88007ce0228
ExceptionAddress: fffff8800f332dbb ([COLOR=Indigo]atikmdag+0x00000000000c7dbb[/COLOR])
   ExceptionCode: [COLOR=Red]c0000005 (Access violation)[/COLOR]
The violation occurred in atikmdag.sys which is the AMD/ATI video driver.

1. Ensure you have the latest video card drivers. If you are already on the latest video card drivers, uninstall and install a version or a few versions behind the latest to ensure it's not a latest driver only issue. If you have already experimented with the latest video card driver and many previous versions, please give the beta driver for your card a try.

2. Remove and replace AVG with Microsoft Security Essentials for temporary troubleshooting purposes as it may be causing conflicts:

AVG removal - http://www.avg.com/us-en/utilities

MSE - Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows

Regards,

Patrick
