Recently, on my sony vaio laptop i have been getting a bsod - it's normally only once a day and afterwards no problems accur - it restarts fine and then pops up an error report like the following:
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.768.3
Locale ID: 2057
Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 50
BCP1: A86795F4
BCP2: 00000001
BCP3: 8A05456F
BCP4: 00000000
OS Version: 6_0_6000
Service Pack: 0_0
Product: 768_1
Along with location of 3 dump files which are different each time (Dont know where they are anymore so i cant provide them) a .dmp, .xml and a .txt
And if i remember correct, the bsod error is something like "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA"
Most cases it happens when starting up the laptop for the first time on that day, but sometimes just before shutting down
I have yet to check the event viewer to get more details on it, to much time has passed since i got the last one so i am going to do it if i get it again (which to be honest i am expecting another, since i have had it 5 times now :laugh
It's really strange, had this laptop for months and had no problems with vista :4-dontkno any help much appreciated
Jamie.
