Question Computer runs, but video on monitor is black

Hello I've been experiencing issues with my computer I wasn't around when it happened but I was told it happened in this order. BSOD > Repaired > BSOD > Repaired then it would start up but no video would appear on the monitor. I've troubleshooted this issue before I was told to confirm the motherboard is alive I did so by removing the ram and turning on the computer and it made a beeping noise. I've replaced the power supply thinking maybe the power supply was the problem.

Tried different monitors that wasn't a issue since they work on the other computer. Also tried a different video card. The bios don't even show up when I power up the computer the fans and everything runs. I hope this information helps.

Try running a memory test. It is a bootable CD. If the monitor still doesn't come on you might try a different cable.

Re: Computer runs, but video on monitor is black

Try using the intergrated/on board graphics instead of a graphics card

Re: Computer runs, but video on monitor is black

I've tried using my onboard graphics rather then my graphics card and I have had luck I can access my bios and I can log in I felt the need to post the results so far.

Okay my computer specs
Gateway DX4820-07h

Windows 7
8 Gb of ram 1333 Mhz
1Tb HDD
Intel Core2 Quad Q8200
UltravLS 550 Watt ATX Power Supply
ATI Radeon HD 4650, 1024 mb. <-- This does not register in device manager
Standard VGA Graphics Adapter <-- Does Register but has a exclamation mark that states this device cannot start.
As for the Mobo Not sure what it really is so I will just post what I seen written on it.
Acer G45T/G43T-AM3

We haven't done the memory test yet but we plan on it Im not sure if both graphics cards are toast or the slots themselves are.

boot with on board graphics into windows and install your graphics driver. (with graphics card connected)

and restart and change bios default display settings to use graphics card (can't remember exactly where)
