Hi -

Atheros wifi driver named as probable cause in the lone BSOD -
Code:
[font=lucida console]
athurx.sys Wed Apr 20 06:07:45 2011 (4DAEB071)[/font]
http://www.sysnative.com/drivers/driver.php?id=athurx.sys

It needs to be updated. Check system manufacturer's support site.

Personally, a week-old system that BSODs - I would return it and demand one with an Intel wifi adapter.

Regards. . .

Hi -

Ah.. the wifi is not internal to the system -- it's an after-market product.

Using the link you provided, v5 software is the most recent, which I suspect you already have based on its July 2011 publish date -

http://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/?model=TL-WN321G&version=V5#tbl_a

If they offer no further updates, you'll need to get a new wifi device that is fully compatible with your system.

The driver in your system has a date = April 2011; rather old for a fully updated Windows 7 SP1 system.

Atheros writes drivers for many manufacturers, including TP-Link.

well followed yer instructions but today it happened again and now i didn't
even get a blue screen just plain blank direct shutdown, when i clicked the power button it didn't power up and then i turned off the switch on psu
and turned it on immediately and computer started.
I received three following events in event log of windows somewhat similar to before and all marked red in color some critical and some error.

here are the following events that were noted under event log when this unexpected shutdown happened.

Hi -

One entry mentions an Atheros DLL -
Code:
C:\Windows\system32\[COLOR=Red]athExt.dll[/COLOR]
You need to get a new wifi device that is fully compatible with your system.

The other issues re: PSU seem hardware related.

The system is 1 week old. I suggest that you return it to the place of purchase and demand a replacement.

Regards. . .
