Hello all,
I'm new to the forum and have been experiencing bsod when opening any browser or program really. If I leave the computer idle with normal background programs running I experience no issues. I usually experience bsod within 5 minutes of launching a program. When I launch into Windows Safe Mode with Networking however, I experience no problems launching browsers and other programs. I have attached the Sysnative zip, minidump log, and CBS log, but could not attach the perfmon report as it would give the following error: "An error occurred while attempting to generate report. | The system cannot find the path specified."
Thanks so much for the assistance!

Strange that there is only 1 from this month and then back to January and last December.
The recent one was called by MsMpEng.exe which is the
Microsoft Windows AntiMalware protection system AKA MSE.
Lets try running driver verifier to see if any drivers show themselves.
Follow the instructions here, make sure to set a
restore point before enabling verifier, also if you do not have Windows disk create a
Windows repair disk verfier set up instructions here>

Hi Wrench,
Thank you so much for your reply. So I have tried following the directions for the verifier but after the initial restart I boot into windows and within a few seconds immediately experience a bsod. I then try to boot into safemode (it doesn't work half the time and I have to manually restart) but when I look for the minidump I don't see one. The last minidump that i can see is the zip I made to post to the forum with no additional ones despite the continuous bsod I've experienced since then. I've since realized that when I initially ran sysnative it was through safemode because when I boot normally the computer will bsod within a few minutes of login. Do you have any suggestions on how to proceed?

When you boot normally does the blue screen itself name a driver or process?

It restarts so quickly I don't have time to read anything on the blue screen

MpFilter.sys is the only program looking name that appears on all the new bsods I get. They usually occur within 5 minutes of logging into windows.

Is that with verifier enabled or not?
MpFilter.sys is a driver for MSE/Windows Defender if it is the actual cause I would think it's malware related.

This is with verifier disabled. When verifier is enabled the system bsods very quickly and I can't read the data displayed on the blue screen before restart. Should I be enabling verifier in safe mode or in normal windows?

Normal Windows, turn auto reboot off so you can read the screen.
To turn off Auto Reboot Vista/Win7
Start> type/paste Advanced System Settings, from the list Select Advanced System Settings> On the Advanced Tab click on Startup and Recovery> in the Startup and Recovery window un check Automatically Restart, hit Ok to exit the dialogs, reboot the PC for the settings to take effect.

So with verifier running, I logged into normal windows and the system was running incredibly slowly. Within 30 seconds bsod appeared and and at the bottom of the screen next to what I assume was a memory address was FSPFltd.sys? I did some research and apparently it can be manipulated by malware?

I just ran cleanmgr and after restarting when it was configuring windows prior to login I got a bsod saying MpFilter.sys again.

System was able to configure windows and I am able to log back in normally but the system still operates incredibly slowly and bsods within 30 seconds. FSPFltd.sys is the driver or process I'm getting again.

Hello, I worked with tetonbob over in the malware removal help topic area and it was determined that the issue is not malware related. The computer has stopped bsod but now does not allow windows updates to run or install.
