OS: Windows 7 Home Premium SP1



I have been experiencing BSOD for a while now. Everytime I close my laptop lid, it turns off after a few seconds because of the BSOD. My power settings are set to sleep when the lid is closed.

My Specs are:

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.111118-2330)

Dell Inspiron 15R N5110

BIOS: BIOS Date: 09/30/11 14:31:19 Ver: 04.06.04

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2310M CPU @ 2.10GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.1GHz

Memory: 6144MB RAM

Video: AMD Radeon HD 6470M and Intel(R) HD Graphics Family (Switchable Graphics)

Hi Welcome to TSF

Your recent BSOD crash dump file is pointing to ntkrnlmp.exe

So we are going to first start with updating your current drivers to the latest
go to Drivers and Downloads | Dell [United States]
Download the chipset, audio, video, WLAN, LAN, and storage drivers
Install them and reboot your computer

Run Driver verifier on your system for couple of days to see if it gives you any more BSOD if so post the crash dump files here
