Hello: I have a Toshiba Satellite A505-S6960 (laptop) running Windows Vista Home Premium (64-bit) SP 2. It is the original O/S that was installed with the laptop and it is an OEM license. I bought the laptop in 2009. It has an Intel Core2 Duo 2.10 GHz CPU, 4GB of RAM, with an Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics chip integrated into the motherboard. I'm not sure of the motherboard, other than it running the Mobile Intel GM45 Express chipset.
I have been consistently receiving the Blue Screen of Death with the message IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.
I have scanned my machine using AVG Free 2012. I also ran full scans using Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, Lavasoft's Ad-Aware, Windows Defender, and Kapersky's TDSS Killer. All scans came up clean.
I've cleaned my laptop using Piriform's CCleaner app also utilizing its Registry Cleaner utility. I've also used SlimWare Utilities' FixCleaner app to clean the registry and it's DriverUpdate utility to update my drivers and all system and install all Windows Vista updates.
I can successfully boot my laptop into safe mode. I can even boot into safe mode with networking. While in safe mode, I experience no BSOD occurrences. I ruled out any issues due to overheating as the BSODs occur on cold startup after being shut down for a while.
I've followed the instructions and attached the kernel dumps and other system information in the two attached zip files. I have also attached a list of drivers on my machine using driverquery from the command prompt.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
thx
