BSOD on lenovo laptop

Hi

I've been experiencing BSOD for the last two weeks (3 times total). My first BSOD occurred a couple of months ago (the date in the minidump is incorrect), but is thought it was a some temporary glitch in the windows. However, as I said in the last couple of weeks I had 3 BSOD, which occurred while I was on youtube, or listening to music while doing something else.

The laptop comes with hardware diagnostic tool, which I regularly used. My system passed every time (no errors of any kind). I have not installed any new hardware, so I don't know what the problem could be. I noticed that before the crash there is weird noise coming from the speakers.

Here are all the requested files. I appreciate all the help.

Specs:

Windows 7 Pro
x64
OEM
Laptop is approx. 8 months old
The OS has not been re-installed

CPU - i5 2410m
Radeon 6630m

Lenovo e520

I can't read your MSINFO32 file. Please do the following:
Please go to Start and type in "msinfo32.exe" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Save the report as an .nfo file, then zip up the .nfo file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
Also, save a copy as a .txt file and include it also (it's much more difficult to read, but we have greater success in getting the info from it).
Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on Win7 systems due to the sptd.sys driver.
Please uninstall the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): DuplexSecure - FAQ

You have Zone Alarm installed. I don't see any problems with it currently, but suggest that you keep an eye on it in case it starts giving problems.

There are many errors with the Bonjour service. Please uninstall iTunes and install a freshly downloaded copy.

The memory dumps point to errors with your video - both the onboard Intel and the ATI. Please:
- download fresh copies of the Intel and ATI graphics drivers from the Lenovo website
- uninstall the Intel and ATI graphics drivers from the system
- install the freshly downloaded copies
- monitor for further BSOD's

Further info on BSOD error messages available at: http://www.carrona.org/bsodindx.html

The following info is just FYI, I've already addressed the issues that I saw in the above paragraphs

Thanks for your help. Here are the msinfo32 files.

I have a general question regarding the video drivers. If there is something wrong with the drivers, shouldn't I experience problems all the time? What causes the drivers to go haywire after a couple of months?

I will do what you suggest, and report back if necessary. Again, thanks for your help.

The situation with your video is a relatively new one. Not long ago there was only one video device on a laptop.

Something happened to cause the video errors but we don't know exactly what it is.
A computer is complex, with the drivers interacting with each other all the time. It could be that the drivers became corrupted, or that another program doesn't play nicely with the video drivers. Another alternative is that a Windows Update caused unexpected behavior in the driver (if the driver didn't follow Microsoft's driver writing recommendations).

Nothing extra of note in the MSINFO32 file - so just keep an eye on the system to see if that fixed the BSOD's. If not, post back with the resulting memory dumps and we'll move on from there.

I hoped that after following usasma's instructions I won't post here again, but unfortunately it seems that I will.

I got one BSOD today after two months of peace. I don't know what the problem could be, but I suspect that updating my machine using lenovo update (thinkvantage) couple of days ago, might have something to do with this.

I'm sending my report.

Thanks for your help.

I still see Daemon Tools driver spio.sys as being loaded; from Post #2:

Please uninstall the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): DuplexSecure - FAQ
