BSOD every day memory management, ...

My os is windows 7 ultimate
32 bit
hardware age :-2.5 years
i've re-installed OS 4 times because of BSOD,
i ve performed memory test:- 4 pass 0 error

some times BSOD when login screen appears ,some times after logon

perfmon /report shows that your Generic IRDA-compatible device isn't installed. Please visit the manufacturer's website and download/install the Infrared Device drivers.

SP1 isn't installed, please do the following:

It's possible (I strongly suspect it) that ZoneAlarm is causing the problems also. Please uninstall it and see if that stops the BSOD's.

Your modem drivers date from 2006 and must be updated

Should these things not fix the BSOD's, please post back and we'll try other stuff.

i dont think so zone alarm was a culprit, because it was installed recently ,before the install there were BSOD s ,
i'll try update windows

but i haven't use or install Infrared Device

are you sure cause was not from hardware side ?

ZoneAlarm may not be the culprit, but we remove anything that might be causing issues so we can assume that it's not the problem. It makes the actual problem easier to find.

Although this is not a certain diagnosis, the last 2 crashes occurred while running in a ZoneAlarm process - and both were memory-related. These could suggest that ZoneAlarm is a problem - but it's not a 100% diagnosis.

There is an infra red device on your system that doesn't have drivers installed. You must install the drivers so that the device doesn't cause any problems because it doesn't have drivers. The exact make and model of your system (or the make and model of the motherboard - if it's a custom build) will help us to locate these drivers for you.

Hardware problems are difficult to diagnose. Sometimes it's obvious that it's hardware, but at other times the issue is very hard to see. Yours may be hardware, but there are other things present that it could also be.

FYI - the general order of BSOD causes is:
- 3rd party drivers/software
- hardware problems
- Windows problems

The 3rd party drivers/software problems are, by far, the most common. So we look for them first.

Please ensure that ZoneAlarm is removed. Feel free to reinstall it once the system is stable again.

Please update your modem drivers - as they date from 2006 and are likely not compatible with Win7

There is some sort of USB modem (ZTE is the manufacturer) on your system. The drivers date from 2009, so they should be updated or the device should be removed from your system (and the software uninstalled).

Please uninstall TuneUpUtilites. The drivers date from 2009, and other users have reported difficulties with this program.

Free Software - GIMPS
Download Prime 95
Use the Large FFTs for stress testing your CPU

Also would be good to check the RAM with memtest as well

1) Download memtest
Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool (.iso file)
2) Burn that on a CD, as a bootable image
3) Turn your computer off
4) Remove all but one RAM stick from your computer
5) Boot your computer with memtest cd
6) Run 8 – 11 passes on that stick
7) Shutdown the PC
8) Take the tested RAM stick out and plug in the next RAM stick
9) Boot again with memtest CD and run 8 – 11 passes
Repeat the process until all RAM sticks are tested individually
If time permitted, it is also good to run windows memory test as well just so that if memtest+ didn’t catch something.
