This is what happened:
I received a Computer system I ordered from my supplier.
I installed DVD drive (as I had one here in stock, brand new & unused) and I proceeded to install Windows 7 x64.
All went very smoothly (which I would expect since I’m no stranger to Windows installations.
After Windows had started, BSOD occurred. 0x00000124 Uncorrectable Hardware Error (see attached)
PC automatically restarted and BSOD happened again.
I then formatted hard drive and proceeded to install Windows 7 fresh. During this process, BSOD happened again. Windows 7 did not complete installation. I formatted hard drive and once more, I installed Windows.
BSOD happened again (all these times, the same error message).
I then detached DVD drive, front USB, card reader and audio cables from motherboard. I also changed from using the PS2 keyboard & mouse to USB. BSOD still occurring
It also happens in Safe Mode.
Tried different HDD - BSOD still occurred
Replaced motherboard with same make & model & I then formatted original HDD to load Windows 7 fresh and proceeded to install drivers that came with motherboard and... BSOD 0x00000124 happened again!!!
