BSOD 0x0000000D1 and 0x00000044

Hi folks

I have a HP Compaq 6730b laptop which came to me with problems with IE, adware, spyware etc.

The IE problem sorted itself after updating to IE 9.

When I first starded the computer it gave me a bluescreen, but I had tos set it to stay on before collecting info.
The main problem seemed to be:
0x000000D1 (0x0f74ff85,0x00000002,0x00000001,0x8bc5de43)
iastor.sys address 8bc5de43 base at 8bc01000 datestamp 49287809

After doing a search to find out about the above I upgraded the storeage driver.
Soon after I had the following:
Multiple_IRP_complete requests
0x00000044 (0xb6096dd8, 0x0000eae,0x00000000,0x0000000

Info Computer:
Windows 7 Professional 32bit
Original OS
HP Compaq 6730b
About two years old
Intel Core2Duo P8700 2.53GHz
Mobile Intel 4 series graphics
I have started verifier, but nothing directly.
Hope the attached file gives us something

My System

Re: BSOD 0x0000000D1 and 0x00000044

the latest minidump file is point to iaStor.sys

If you have already upgraded the drivers than lets do few things

First uninstall the Drivers for Intel storage by using driver sweeper
Reboot
Install the latest drivers from Compaq's website for your laptop's model

Is it possible that laptop is infected with a virus? Have you ran any anti virus scans on the system?

Re: BSOD 0x0000000D1 and 0x00000044

Hi loda117
Because of the iaStor.sys I updated to the latest storage driver because most information I have read pointed to that...
I have verifier working as stated and my customer was desperated for the laptop and has it for a couple of days...
He is going to keep an eye on what happens and I can check the logg after getting it back on Thursday.
I did check it for viruses and such like, but nothing really showed up apart from a little addware.
I will keep you posted when I get the computer back...

Thanks for your time.
