I have a HP Vista 64 bit desktop - computer is 5 years old - good amount of memory - ATT Yahoo browser - IE9 - Windows Live Mail - Avasti premium security.
Lately - screens are freezing - EVERYTHING: docs - internet - mail -formatting >> small circling goes round and round and everything freezes for at least 5 mins. I checked C drive for programs installed for anything suspect and it looks ok - checked installed uinstall page - nothing weird.
checked default programs in control panel - ok.
I ran the folowing: ASW MBR - SuperAntiSpyware - Malwarebytes Anti Malware - Avast! scan - TDSS killer - Combo Fix - ESET online scanner - and Tweaking.com repair tool.
RESULTS: NO viruses or threats. I'm worried that my computer may be dying and need to be replaced. I am baffled! Any ideas?:banghead:
