Re: tecumseh 10hp seized

Tecumseh is out of business... Finding parts is getting very difficult.

Re: tecumseh 10hp seized

The Craftsman model equates to TVM220-157106H for the Tecumseh engine. This Manual will be helpful if you wish to attempt repairing the engine. Start by removing the shroud around the flywheel and make sure problem is not external. Check the flywheel and the output shaft underneath. If the engine is damaged internally you may want to consider replacing it if the rest of the lawn tractor is in good shape.

Bozodog may be correct on the parts availability even though my source shows an inventory.

Edit...I am only seeing carbs and muffler from my source. May have to go with a B&S or Kohler if that was an option from Sears.
