Can anyone please tell me where oil leak could be coming from on left side of engine looks like by the cyclinder head area, and is this an on going problem with these engines. It is on a GT5000 craftsman and is only about 5 years old. Thanks for any help

Have you checked the valve cover screws/bolts?? Are they loose?? Try to snug them up......just don't over-do the torque.

Not yet but I will thanks called briggs they said torque should be 220 inch/pounds thanks

can oil lead from the front of the bolt thread because it is not leaking from gasket it looks like it is coming from the threads on the end of bolt closest to the motor not the head of the bolt.
