This is my first time building a computer. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could check my parts to make sure they will all work together. Also, if you have any recommendations for alternatives to either the graphics card, motherboard, or anything else they would be appreciated.
I am trying to stay under $600.
I want to use this computer mainly for internet, photoshop and some light gaming on slightly older games.
I don't plan on overclocking, or running any sort of crossfire system later either.
I will be running Windows 7 home premium (64-bit)

here are the parts i have so far:

CPU:
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6819103727

Graphics Card:
HIS H467QR1GH Radeon HD 4670
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814161315

Motherboard:
GIGABYTE GA-880GMA-UD2H
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813128445

Memory:
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820231276

Case:
Antec 300 Black Steel
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6811129042

PSU:
Antec BP550 Plus 550W Continuous Power
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817371016

Hard Drive:
Western Digital Caviar Blue WD3200AAKX
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6822136770

DVD Drive:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6827135204

thanks in advance for any feedback!

Links don't work, so can provide more info on the RAM please, or a working link to ensure it's compatibility.

I'm not a big fan of Antec power supplies, Corsair and Seasonic are far better choices. Here's a combo for the Corsair 650 TX and your mobo.

The 4670 is a weak card as I'm sure you're aware. I understand you're on a budget, but if you do the rebate, this HIS 5770 is worth every penny of the $30 increase IMO.

Or another option: CPU & XFX 5770 combo with additional rebate

thanks for the advice. for an extra $30 i can upgrade the graphics card, so thanks for the suggestion. this is the RAM:

Newegg.com - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH

as for the PSU, do I need 650 watts? it seems like a lot.

other than those, is everything compatible? i really don't want to have to return things because i find out there is some issue with them.

Good choice in RAM.

If you stick with the 4670, you could probably do 550W without much issue, but as stated, I don't care for Antec PSU's. If you're using the 5770, I'd go with the 650. It's always good to have overhead with the PSU -- you don't want to run it at or near it's maximum output for extended periods of time, as it will decrease the life of the PSU, and a dying PSU is an ugly scenario you surely don't want to experience!

::EDIT::

Everything else is compatible yes. Note on HD though:
Same WD line, more space, $6 cheaper
WD Caviar Black line, double cache, double disk size, longer warranty, $10 more

ok thanks, I guess I will stick with your suggestion then. So everything will work together? great. Now I just have to purchase and assemble the parts. Do you have any links to good guides to assembling or just any advice in general?

Good idea is to download your motherboard manual and give it a read through and familiarize yourself with it while you're anxiously waiting for everything to arrive. Follow the guide listed above, and if you'd like, look on youtube for computer building videos, there's tons on there.

See the edit at the end of my last post also for a note on your HDD.
