Hello. I'm new here and am certainly not tech savvy, but I'm hoping somebody may be able to help me.
I'm converting VHS to DVD with the Toshiba dvr620ku. I recently had to copy something longer than 2 hours so I changed the speed from SP to LP. However, this resulted in the aspect ratio on the DVD to change. The sides were now squeezed in distorting the image. I tried it again in SP and the aspect ratio was fine, but I can't fit the entire video onto the disc. I am viewing the disc with VLC.
I know I can manually change the aspect ratio with VLC when playing, but I don't want to do that since these are meant for others to look at.
Does anybody know of a way to keep the same aspect ratio when recording in LP?
Thanks.
Bill
