Samsung T220 HD - how can I change the audio channel?

Hi there,

I have a problem. I am experiencing troubles with my old trusted TV, a Samsung T220 HD. My roommate accidentally broke off the tip of an audio cable within the TV, so that the TV audio input constantly makes contact with the tip of the audio cable and I can't play any sounds anymore from the TV. I thought I could fix the problem by changing the audio channel to TV speakers again, however if I try to configure this via the menu I'm not able to change the audio channel settings. In other words, if I go to menu -> sound -> select speaker, I can't change the option to select the speaker. Thanks in advance if someone wants to help me with the problem.

Hi and Welcome to TSF!

It should be fairly easy to remove. I'd gather some Super Glue or Gorilla Glue followed by a somewhat strong, but small poll. A Q-Tip without the cotton on the end will do the job.

With a very light drop of glue to the 3.5mm jack and the Q-Tip poll, after drying you should be able to remove it. They are only in there with little resistance.
