No sound from mic on speakers

Hi all.

I have tried to find the solution to my problem on many forums, but nothing until now.

I have Toshiba Satellite L20-182 (with Conexant AMC Audio). When I plug in the external microphone in Mic-In port, no sound can be heard on speakers while talking. Sound recording work perfectly. I need to hear the sound on speakers, because my children want to play Karaoke.

I had the same problem with my HP laptop, and I found the solution on some forum (editing two items in Registry), but I can not find similar solution for Toshiba.

Notes: mic is plugged in right port. All the settings for audio devices are right. It is just a feature in drivers or something similar which prevents the sound from mic to be hear "live" on speakers.
